SQL Server 2012 (or 2008) is the Database Engine that is used as the main, typically shared, repository of information for CONTROL Pro Studio.
A Free version (Express) can be downloaded from Microsoft

Download one of the following based on your system and Administrative needs. all installs will meet the programs needs
"SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe" - for 64 bit platform, Includes the fully functional database engine only.
OR
"SQLEXPRWT_x64_ENU.exe" for 64 bit platform, Includes the DB Engine and SQL Management Studio.
OR
"SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe" - for 64 bit platform, Include the DB Engine and Advanced reporting and analysis services. This install is overkill for most needs, even at the corporate level.
OR
"SQLEXPR_x86_ENU.exe", "SQLEXPRWT_x86_ENU.exe", "SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe" - for 32 bit platforms, specifications are the same as the above items.
After selection above you will have to wait for the next step...
